Day 7: Austria

The hills are alive...Beautiful day in Salzburg. The alps surround us and the weather is great. Today was "The Sound of Music" tour. We got to see all the sets for that movie. Which ones do you recognize?

Salzburg is also the birthplace of Mozart (he hated it here). Incredibly beautiful place. No industry to speak of except tourism.

Tonight we are visiting an Austrian family and having dinner in their home. Have to wonder about this one. We are served the welcome drink in a barn. Is that wonderful aroma the cows or the food?
